How does our self-tanner work?
Our self-tanners contain DHA, a natural ingredient derived from sugarcane. DHA reacts with the dead skin cells in the outermost layer of the skin, creating a tanned complexion – without sun or UV radiation. The color develops within 2 to 6 hours and remains visible for an average of 5 to 7 days.
Is self-tanner safe?
Yes. DHA has been approved by international health authorities and has been safely used in cosmetics for many years. Avoid contact with eyes and lips, and if you have sensitive skin, test on a small area first. Our SolaVita Tanning Lotion contains vitamin E for extra care and hydration.
Self-tanner vs. the sun
UV radiation can lead to wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and skin cancer. With a self-tanner, you achieve the same tanned effect, but without damage. You control the intensity and prevent sunburn – ideal for light or sensitive skin.
Will I still tan in the sun?
Yes. A self-tanner only provides color but does not protect against UV. So, you can still get sunburned. Always use sunscreen on top of your self-tanner.

The tint from a self-tanner offers no UV protection. Apply sunscreen when you go outside, even on cloudy days. Wait until the self-tanner has been fully absorbed.

We always strive to deliver your order as quickly as possible. Orders placed on weekdays before 10:00 PM are typically dispatched on the same day.
We do our utmost to provide you with your products quickly, but sometimes a product may be temporarily out of stock. In that case, delivery may take a little longer. On the product page, you will always find an indication of the expected delivery time. Should it happen that we cannot meet this delivery time, we will, of course, inform you as soon as possible.

Your order will be delivered by the PostNL or Bpost mail carrier or parcel delivery person. In most cases, you will receive your package the next business day between 09:00 AM and 06:00 PM.
Returns - Not satisfied? No problem — you can simply try the product.
It may happen that you wish to return an order, for example, if the product does not meet your expectations or for another reason. You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt without giving any reason.
How does it work?
After cancellation, you have another 30 days to return the product to us. We will refund the full order amount, including shipping costs, to your account. The costs for returning the product to us are for your own account.
We ask you to return the product, if reasonably possible, in its original condition and packaging, along with all supplied accessories. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you can contact us via support@tanningglamour.nl. We will ensure that the amount is in your account within 14 days of receiving the returned product.
