How does our self-tanner work?
Our self-tanners contain DHA, a natural ingredient derived from sugar cane. DHA reacts with dead skin cells in the upper layer of the skin, creating a tan—without the sun or UV rays. The tan develops within 2 to 6 hours and lasts an average of 5 to 10 days.
Is self-tanner safe?
Yes. DHA is approved by international health authorities and has been used safely in cosmetics for years. Avoid contact with eyes and lips, and test on a small area first if you have sensitive skin. Our SolaVita Tanning Lotion contains vitamin E for extra nourishment and hydration.
Self-tanner vs. the sun
UV rays can lead to wrinkles, age spots, and skin cancer. With a self-tanner, you can achieve the same tanned effect, but without the damage. You control the intensity and prevent sunburn – ideal for fair or sensitive skin.
Will I still get a tan in the sun?
Yes. A self-tanner only provides color, but doesn't protect against UV rays. So you can still get burned. Always use sunscreen on top of your self-tanner.

Dispatch
Orders placed on weekdays before 10:00 PM are shipped the same day. In most cases, your package will be delivered the next business day via PostNL or Bpost. You can always find the current delivery time on the product page. If there is an unexpected delay, we will notify you as soon as possible.
Free shipping on orders over €35 within the Netherlands and Belgium. Any shipping costs will be calculated automatically during checkout.
Returns
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt without giving a reason. After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the product to us.
After receiving your return, we will refund the full order amount, including shipping costs, within 14 days. You are responsible for paying for the return shipping costs. Returns should be returned in their original condition and packaging, if reasonably possible.
